Judgement unboxing

I am on a mission to play all the games. Today I have the privilege of unboxing the Judgement two player starter box from Gunmeister Games. Judgement is multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) inspired skirmish game.

Everything fits into the box very nicely, with plenty of storage for everything included. The core rulebook is only 32 pages and is an easy read. Even though the format is simple, the rules are fantastically easy to follow.

I appreciate the attention to detail in the packaging. There is a notch cut out on the top right corner of each cardboard page, making it easy to unpack the box.

The two player starter box comes with amazing miniatures and enough cardboard for two players to play the game. There are plenty of tokens and widgets, including seven cardboard "standees." As a Warmachine and Hordes players, I am a big fan of the measuring widgets. The starter box only comes with three models so you need to use the cardboard standees in the beginning to play a full game. As your collection grows you can replace the cardboard standees with actual models.

The two player starter box comes with a beautiful 2'x2' cardboard map. The map folds into quadrants and fits nicely back into the box. The game is played with either three models on a map of this size or five models on a 3'x3' map (not included).

The best part of the game are the miniatures. The starter comes with two heroes (Rakkir and Bastian) and one monster (Gloom). They are 54mm scale and finely detailed. They come preassembled and have very little flashing or mold lines. They look really good. I am looking forward to painting them!

The two player starter box comes with standard dice, special Judgement dice, and 30 full color cards. Six hero cards and three monster cards, shrines and artifacts.

Now that everything is opened the next step is to play! I will get in a few games and come back with a battle report.
